According to Bred Feld, a healthy startup community requires the involvement and engaging the whole entrepreneurial ecosystem from aspiring university student to serial startup founders, investors, universities and government entities. This deeper level of cooperation is best achieved an organization. Startup communities and associations in the CEE region are getting stronger and gaining more visibility, but there is still a gap between these and matured ecosystems in Western Europe and the US – or indeed established industries that startups often seek to disrupt.
